Vackra Anna

Vackra Anna is a work based on interviews made in summer 2012 with people living in my childhood village, Långshyttan, during the 1970's. I asked people of different ages and different social classes about their memories of a certain woman called Vackra Anna (beautiful Anna). Everyone living in Långshyttan at this time knew her.
I was curious about how a group of individuals create a common image of a person.
The stories seem to be rather similar at first, but they all differ in details. And no one is sure about the facts.
Each person was asked to draw a map of where about they thought Vackra Anna used to live at the time. None of the maps show the same place.
The work contains twelve interviews and maps.
